New Large Growing Water Lilies
Water Lily cultivars come in all sizes. Some are so small, they produce leaves and flowers the size of a ten pence piece. However, this makes the perfect choice for those wanting to plant up small containers or anything else that holds water.
On the other end of the scale, there are many large Water Lily cultivars that can produce leaves and flowers as large as a dinner plates. These large growing cultivars are ideal for those of us who are fortunate enough to own a large lined pond or large clay bottomed pond or lake.
The flowers of large growing Water Lilies come in a range of colours and shapes. They can range from star or goblet shaped, be open or flat or have double chrysanthemum style blooms.
Water Lily hybridization has come a long way in the last few years and the size, colour and shape of blooms has greatly improved. The cultivars listed below are all very new and simply stunning. The image shown is of one of my favourites: the free flowering Nymphaea Siam Sunset. I hope when you view the image, it speaks for itself. The other images also below, are of a stunning new cream coloured variety called Nymphaea Rattana Ubol and of a beautiful very double pink called Nymphaea Strawberry Milkshake. Every one of these gorgeous cultivars that I have listed is very special indeed
